Community Victory: WizKids Recalls Baldur’s Gate 3 Figures After Backlash
Baldur’s Gate 3 fans were united in their verdict: the WizKids miniatures were a flop. For weeks, players have voiced their frustration over the product’s poor quality — a sentiment echoed by Larian’s own designer, known online as HighLODLar.

The $50 set included seven officially licensed figures based on Baldur’s Gate 3, but the final result looked questionable at best. Social media and forums quickly filled with comparison photos, angry posts, and one repeating question: how did this even get approved?
It seems WizKids took notice. The company acknowledged that the final product didn’t meet expectations and announced a full recall, offering refunds to those who purchased the set.
“We want our customers to build lasting, positive memories of game nights with friends and family using our products. Unfortunately, we did not achieve that goal with the D&D Icons of the Realms: Baldur's Gate 3 Character Boxed Set,” WizKids said in a statement.
This time, the fans truly won — proving once again that community voices can be powerful, and sometimes, even game-changing.
