Warhorse Studios Celebrates Success as Prime Minister Joins Kingdom Come Adventure
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala received a Collector’s Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 during his recent visit to the town of Kutná Hora. The game, released on February 4, is set in 15th-century Bohemia — the historical region that is now part of the modern-day Czech Republic.
The latest title from Warhorse Studios has already become a major success, with over three million copies sold since launch. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has earned praise for its refined combat system and richly detailed medieval world. The studio has promised ongoing post-launch support with new content and features. The most recent update, Patch 1.3, was released on May 15 alongside the Brushes with Death DLC — the first of three expansions planned throughout 2025. The DLC can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass, which is also included in the Collector’s Edition.
Photos of the Prime Minister’s visit were shared on Warhorse Studios’ official Twitter account, showing Mayor Lukáš Seifert presenting him with the special edition. The developers expressed pride in having their game recognized at such a high level and thanked the Czech public for its continued support. According to Warhorse, Prime Minister Fiala was delighted with the gift — and his team responded with enthusiastic applause.
While many fans were pleased to see Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 acknowledged at the government level, some players voiced concerns about technical issues. In particular, visual glitches and screen flickering appeared after the release of Update 1.3. Although PC players can use console commands as a temporary fix, those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S lack that option.
Still, bugs are being addressed, updates are rolling out, and the game continues to grow in popularity. Two more expansions are on the way, set to further explore Henry’s journey through Bohemia. With future updates likely to bring fan-requested features and more fixes, even the Prime Minister himself will be able to experience what lies ahead through the included Season Pass.
