Lviv in Talks to Host the World Esports Championships 2025

The International Esports Federation (IESF) is in the final stages of discussions for the upcoming World Esports Championships 2025, and Lviv, Ukraine has emerged as a strong candidate to host the prestigious global event.

This potential milestone has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of Denys Davydov, Head of the Esports Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, who played a key role in putting Lviv on the map as a host city.

While official dates for the championship have not yet been announced, the lineup of game titles has already been confirmed. The event will feature tournaments in:

• Counter-Strike 2
• Dota 2
• PUBG Mobile
• Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
• eFootball

If confirmed, hosting the World Esports Championships in Lviv would mark a significant achievement for Ukraine's growing esports ecosystem and showcase the city on the international stage.
