Fortnite Leak Hints at Another Mortal Kombat Character Joining the Fight

A new Fortnite leak has sparked excitement among fans, hinting at the arrival of another Mortal Kombat character—though their identity remains a mystery. While Sub-Zero is already playable and Scorpion has been all but confirmed through earlier leaks, a third kombatant from the iconic fighting franchise now appears to be on the way.

Fortnite is currently deep into Chapter 6, Season 2, titled “Lawless.” This season embraces a gritty criminal underworld theme, featuring heist-style missions, Black Markets with powerful gear, and crossover content like Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit, granting players icy abilities inspired by the cryomancer himself.

According to leaker Loolo, encrypted game files point to Scorpion’s upcoming debut, complete with his legendary Hook Spear, alongside an unrevealed Mortal Kombat character. While Scorpion’s inclusion was previously teased in February through a leak of Mythic MK items, the presence of a third, unidentified character has taken the community by surprise.

Naturally, fans are speculating. The most popular theory? Raiden—the thunder god—who some believe was teased via an ice cream cart featured in Sub-Zero’s emote. However, it’s still unclear whether these new characters will arrive this season or in the next.

Well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina recently claimed that Chapter 6, Season 3 may be a short “mini-season” lasting just 35 days, ending on March 29. If true, Epic Games could be holding off on the full Mortal Kombat reveal until then.

More Ninjas Are on the Way

But the Mortal Kombat roster isn’t the only ninja-centric surprise coming to Fortnite. Another leak hints at the return of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this time with a villain twist. Characters like Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady are rumored to join the game soon, adding even more crossover chaos.

Interestingly, while the TMNT crew has appeared in NetherRealm’s Injustice series, this marks a rare chance for Mortal Kombat and TMNT to exist side by side in the same game, offering fans a crossover ninja showdown unlike anything Fortnite has seen before.
