Sony introduced Dualsense for PlayStation 5
A working DualSense model was unveiled on Friday July 17th. On the broadcast, the famous showman and founder of The Game Awards, Jeff Cayley, tested the gamepad for the PS5. Jeff also compared the DualSense to its predecessor, the DualShok.
The DualSense for PS5 feels a bit heavier than the DualShok. At the same time, Jeff noted that this does not affect the use of DualSense in any way. The gamepad sits perfectly in the hands. The main feature of DualSense is vibration and sounds.
Sony focuses on total immersion, so the new controller will allow you to experience everything that happens on the screen. To demonstrate Kaylee's capabilities, I used Astro's Playroom preinstalled on the console. There was shown a level in a sandstorm. The DualSense controller was able to convey characteristic sounds.
Sound and vibration are not the only features of DualSense. The controller will have a built-in microphone that will allow players to use their voice to manipulate games. For example, it will be possible to solve puzzles orally.
DualSense is due out with the PlayStation 5. The console is expected to be released in fall 2020.
