Skull and Bones: Delays Continue, but Year 2 Plans Take Shape

Skull and Bones remains no stranger to delays, and its second year of content support is no exception. While recent rumors about the game's continued development have now been officially confirmed, the developers have provided an updated roadmap on the game's subreddit, revealing adjustments to their original plans.

The biggest change is the postponement of Year 2’s first season launch, now set for April 15. This delay is intended to ensure the highest quality of new content from day one. To bridge the gap, the fourth season of Year 1 will be extended, allowing players to continue engaging with ongoing content.

Additionally, the game's anniversary event will be extended by another week, giving players more time to participate. Meanwhile, the release of the Skull and Bones themed soundtrack has been pushed back to March 24, instead of the originally scheduled March 6.

Looking ahead, Ubisoft will host the Skull and Bones Year 2 Showcase on April 14, where they will reveal more details about the new content and what players can expect in the months to come.
