Antonov played a pivotal role in defining the iconic dystopian world of Half-Life 2, a game widely regarded as one of the greatest in video game history. The sequel, which introduced players to the oppressive rule of the Combine, spawned two expansions (Episode One in 2006 and Episode Two in 2007) and was later followed by Half-Life: Alyx in 2020.
