After 15 years, Fallout Season 2 is bringing its loyal fanbase back to the iconic setting, and new behind-the-scenes images have surfaced, giving a sneak peek at the reconstructed New Vegas sign and surrounding storefronts.

Fallout TV Series: A Huge Success

The Fallout TV series, created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet for Amazon Prime Video, debuted in April 2023. Based on Bethesda’s long-running RPG franchise, the series is set 200 years after the apocalypse and stars Arcane and Yellowjackets actress Ella Purnell alongside Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins. The show became a major hit, amassing 100 million viewers worldwide and drawing in 65 million within its first 16 days.

User ericalm_ speculated that set construction appears to be complete, and production is gearing up to begin filming soon. The New Vegas sign, inspired by the real-life "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign in the Mojave Wasteland, can be seen in the photos, alongside a green screen and detailed storefronts.

Fans of the series flooded the comments section with excitement. One enthusiast exclaimed, “This is going to be an amazing television experience,” while another admitted, “I feel emotional looking at these.” A particularly sharp-eyed fan even spotted what appears to be a securitron shell in one of the images. For those unfamiliar, securitrons are robotic enforcers that guard the Strip in Fallout: New Vegas, found alongside the Lucky 38 casino and Big MT research facility.

Production Delays and New Cast Additions

The filming of Season 2 was initially delayed due to devastating wildfires in Southern California, which pushed back the original January 8 start date. However, production is now underway, with Walton Goggins confirming that he has begun filming alongside new cast members Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) and Kumail Nanjiani (MCU), though their roles remain undisclosed.
