Japanese studio ARIKA announces Tetris The Grandmaster 4: Absolute Eye
The developers from ARIKA studio , known for the popular Tetris 99 and Tetris The Grandmaster series , unexpectedly announced Tetris The Grandmaster 4: Absolute Eye.
This release was teased at the end of September, and now more details are available.
The novelty will not have online features and will offer players several modes, including: marathon, asuke, master, konoha, and shiranui. The game is scheduled to launch by the end of March 2025, however, it will be available exclusively for PC on Steam.
The history of this game is quite complicated. Back in 2010, the development of the fourth part of the series was cancelled. In 2015, ARIKA tried to return to this idea, but due to the expiration of the licence, work on the project stopped again. And only now, 15 years later, Tetris The Grandmaster 4 will see the light of day.
It will be clear after its release whether the game will be able to retain the best practices of previous iterations and surprise fans of the series.
