Xbox will showcase new Game Pass games at the Tokyo Game Show
"Players eagerly anticipate updates on the development progress from Xbox and Bethesda Softworks, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a diverse collection of games primarily created in Japan and across Asia," said Garrett West, Chief Marketing Officer of Xbox.
"We will also introduce exciting new games that will soon become available on Xbox Game Pass, which continues to expand thanks to the amazing creative work of teams from various corners of Asia."
The presentation will be available on the official Tokyo Game Show YouTube channel and on various Xbox social platforms in multiple languages. The event is scheduled for September 21, starting at 2 a.m. Pacific Time, 5 a.m. Eastern Time, 10 a.m. British Time, and 11 a.m. Central European Time.
The Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 21 to 24 and is expected to be the largest event in the history of the annual exhibition, according to the organizers, the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association.
The schedule of event streams was published last week.
Last month, Microsoft appointed Mena Sato Kato, the former executive director of PlayStation, as the Director of Partnerships in Japan.
Before joining Xbox, she held various positions at Sony from 1999 to 2021, including seven years of experience in managing the development of first-party games for PlayStation in Japan.
In her new role, she will lead efforts to support Xbox partners in Japan and on a global scale.
