Unlocking the Roster: Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals Exciting DLC Fighter Schedule in Kombat Pack 1
Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled its DLC fighter release schedule as part of Kombat Pack 1. The game has received critical acclaim for its intense combat, impressive graphics across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, and an extensive roster of fighters.
Following the tradition of modern Mortal Kombat titles, NetherRealm plans to expand the Mortal Kombat 1 roster with post-launch DLC characters. The DLC lineup for MK1 includes both original characters and guest fighters, with all guest fighters hailing from the world of comic books. The first DLC character to join the roster is Omni-Man from Invincible, set to debut in November 2023.
NetherRealm revealed Omni-Man's release window at New York Comic Con, along with the DLC release schedule. November will also see the addition of the Kameo fighter Tremor, followed by Quan Chi in winter 2023/2024, and Peacemaker in the same season. Ermac and Homelander from The Boys are expected in spring 2024. The last DLC character for Kombat Pack 1 will be Takeda Takahashi, available in summer 2024.
Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Character Release Schedule:

While Tremor is set for a November release, the specific release dates for other DLC Kameo Fighters have not been revealed. It's known that Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon, and Mavado are coming to Mortal Kombat 1, but the exact timing remains uncertain. It's possible they will be paired with other DLC characters, as Omni-Man and Tremor share a release month, but the pairings have yet to be determined.
Rumors suggest that more Mortal Kombat 1 DLC is on the horizon beyond Kombat Pack 1. Although no official announcements have been made, leaks have purportedly unveiled the characters set to join in Kombat Pack 2. While fans should approach these leaks with caution due to past inaccuracies, if they prove accurate, players can anticipate the addition of Deathstroke, Doomslayer, Harley Quinn, Kano, Noob Saibot, and Sareena to the roster of playable fighters, while Bo' Rai Cho, Drahmin, Hsu Hao, Moloch, and Rain will become Kameo Fighters. For now, fans can focus on Kombat Pack 1 and the confirmed DLC characters.
