DLC character Omni-Man for Mortal Kombat 1 revealed
At the New York Comic-Con event, fans were treated to the highly-anticipated trailer, offering the first glimpse of the DLC character, Omni-Man. Omni-Man hails from the pages of Invincible, a comic series that was recently successfully adapted for Amazon Prime.
Omni-Man is voiced by the renowned actor JK Simmons and is set to make his debut in Mortal Kombat 1 in November 2023, as part of the Kombat Pack. Players who own the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 will receive this pack at no additional cost.
In addition to Omni-Man, the first wave of DLC for Mortal Kombat promises to excite fans with the inclusion of characters such as Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takashi Takeda.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of several more fighters, including Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, Ferra, and Khameleon, who will be available as Kameo fighters.
Co-creator of the series and creative director of Mortal Kombat 1, Ed Boon, has recently hinted at the possible inclusion of the iconic horror character, Ghostface, among the roster of Mortal Kombat fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1, released on September 19, has garnered high praise from critics, currently holding a Metacritic score of 84 on consoles and 83 on PC. Critics have lauded the stunning graphics, engaging Story mode, and the new Invasions mode, which offers a captivating gaming experience. The game is considered a must-have for both longtime fans and newcomers.
