Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available on the Steam platform next week
The game can now be added to your wishlist on the PC platform via Valve before its scheduled release on October 3rd.
The original game, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, was released in September 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through the Epic Games Store. According to the publisher, it became the fastest-selling game in the series, reaching one million copies sold.
Later, it was ported to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in March 2021, a few months before the release on Nintendo Switch.
"Original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and its sequel are two absolute classics deserving of respect," notes critic Chris Scallon. "This new remake preserves their uniqueness and gives them an infinitely more beautiful appearance without allowing modern gaming issues to taint the purity of this wonderful time capsule."
In January 2021, Activision Blizzard announced that Vicarious Visions, the studio also behind the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, had been merged into Blizzard.
Last year, Tony Hawk announced that the planned remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 was canceled after the merger of Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
