The trailer for GTA VI will be unveiled on December 5th

The game is scheduled for release this Tuesday at 9 AM Eastern Time/ 6 AM Pacific Time/ 2 PM GMT/ 3 PM CET.

Rockstar confirmed the game's release time through a message on Friday.

The studio announced last month that the first game trailer will debut in December to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary.

In February 2022, Rockstar confirmed active development on the next Grand Theft Auto installment but didn't disclose further details about the game.

However, in September 2022, one of the biggest data leaks in the gaming industry resulted in over an hour of GTA 6 gameplay being published online, providing players with a first glimpse of the highly anticipated continuation of one of the best-selling games of all time.

The leak showcased open-world gameplay from an alpha version of GTA 6, seemingly confirming previous rumors that the game will be set in Vice City and feature a female protagonist.

Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company, anticipates a substantial sales boost in its upcoming fiscal year, crediting it to the release of "numerous groundbreaking titles."

This has fueled speculation that GTA 6 might hit the market within the 12-month period ending on March 31, 2025.
