The information about the release date of the GTA 6 trailer seemingly became known several months ago thanks to an outfit in GTA Online
Lately, GTA Online has been consistently updating with new missions, vehicles, events, and clothing. However, one particular outfit has garnered attention—it was provided to players who were abducted by UFOs during the "Sightseeing" event in October.
The T-shirt, known as "??? Tee," briefly appeared in the game's June update but disappeared until the October event. Besides a few symbols, the design included an unusual set of numbers.
As reported by PCGamesN, users managed to decode the numbers when the T-shirt initially surfaced, revealing a cryptic message: "ONEDAYWILLREVEALALL," which initially seemed inconsequential.
However, Twitter user @Dyllie, confirmed by YouTuber LegacyKillaHD, suggested that the code might contain a date. They highlighted the sequence "12523," speculating it pointed to December 5, 2023—the confirmed release date of the first GTA 6 trailer.
Last week, Rockstar Games confirmed the release of the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer on Tuesday, December 5, at 9 am ET/ 6 am PT/ 2 pm GMT.
The studio previously announced the trailer's December release, marking the company's 25th anniversary.
Rockstar confirmed in February 2022 that active development for the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series was in full swing but refrained from sharing additional game details.
In September 2022, a substantial data leak surfaced information about GTA 6, offering players over an hour of online development footage and providing an initial glimpse into one of the most successful game continuations of all time.
