Renowned Game Designer Hideki Kamiya Announces Departure from PlatinumGames
Game designer Hideki Kamiya will be departing from PlatinumGames on October 12th. While the reasons behind his departure were not disclosed by the studio, they expressed their gratitude for his contributions to their growth.
Kamiya himself stated that his decision to leave the studio came after extensive contemplation. He also assured fans that he would continue creating games in his distinctive style.
During his time at PlatinumGames, Kamiya worked on notable titles such as the Bayonetta series and Astral Chain. Earlier in his career, he served as the director for Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry.
