On the game ratings organization's website, there was a mention of "Red Dead Redemption 2" being included in the list of games available for Nintendo Switch

A Twitter user discovered information on a game review website regarding the existence of a Rockstar game version for Nintendo Switch that had not been officially announced. This game version was added to the ratings list alongside the already available options.

However, the exact date of when this mention of the Nintendo Switch version was added to the review website remains unknown.

Originally, the game was classified by an organization in September 2018, just before its release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the following month.

Furthermore, "Red Dead Redemption 2" was adapted for PC in 2019 and was also released on the now-defunct Stadia platform.

Last month, the owners of Rockstar, Take-Two, announced that "Red Dead Redemption 2" had sold over 55 million copies to date.

According to the research firm Circana (formerly NPD Group), the game ranks second in the list of best-selling games in the United States over the past five years in terms of sales revenue.

Considering the high demands of the game's open world on the outdated hardware of the Nintendo Switch, it's likely that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" version for this console will be available as a cloud-based version, utilizing streaming technology to play the game from a server.

Rockstar also released ports of the original "Red Dead Redemption" for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 last month. The game has sold over 23 million copies since its initial release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010.
