MSI unveiled the Claw - a portable computer featuring an Intel Arc processor aimed at competing with the Steam Deck device
At CES 2024, a new portable computer was unveiled. This time, MSI decided to challenge Valve's Steam Deck by introducing their creation named Claw. This device became the most expensive among its competitors.
According to the press release, this innovation operates on Windows 11 using the MSI Center M program and supports Android games. The release is expected in the first half of 2024, priced between $699 and $799.
Here are the main technical specifications:
- Display: a 7-inch touchscreen IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution, and 500 nits brightness.
- Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.
- RAM: 16GB LPDDR5.
- Graphics Card: Intel Arc with Intel XeSS scaling technology.
- Internal Storage: 512GB or 1TB.
- Battery: 53Wh, providing two hours of gameplay in AAA games without recharging.
- Dimensions: 294 by 117 by 21.2 mm.
- Weight: 675 grams.
- Ports: microSD, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, 3.5mm.
