Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is now available for download and play on mobile devices
Great news for fans of the legendary "Mortal Kombat" franchise! In October of last year, a free game was announced in celebration of the series' 30th anniversary, and now it's available for download on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
The development of this exciting game was entrusted to an experienced team from NetherRealm Studios, promising players a unique experience. "Mortal Kombat: Onslaught" is described as a "strategic team-based collectible RPG" by the series' chief creative director and co-founder, Ed Boon.
The game's plot is captivating from the first minutes, revolving around the fallen Elder God Shinnok, who seeks to regain his power by collecting relics from different worlds. Your mission is to assist Raiden and assemble a team of fighters to thwart Shinnok's plans.
In Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, players can unleash chaos in strategic fast-paced battles involving up to ten characters simultaneously," emphasizes Ed Boon. He adds, "Mortal Kombat: Onslaught will bring a new level of strategic gameplay, and we look forward to seeing how players will assemble their teams to face various opponents and challenges.
This is not the only joyful news for "Mortal Kombat" fans. Last month, a reboot of the original "Mortal Kombat 1" game was released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Reviews of the game leave no room for doubt about its quality.
