In season 19, Apex Legends is finally introducing a cross-progression system
In the latest Apex Legends update, the studio has announced the implementation of a cross-progression system. This change will be gradually introduced to ensure game stability for all players. Due to the complexities of merging accounts across different platforms, certain aspects of the game, such as Apex Coins and Crafting Materials, will behave differently.
However, it's worth noting that all content, including unlocked Legends and cosmetics, will be accessible on all platforms, regardless of where it was initially unlocked. Apex Coins obtained on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation will be combined into a single wallet, allowing them to be spent on any of these platforms. However, Apex Coins on Nintendo Switch will remain separate, as they can only be used on the Nintendo console.
Importantly, new non-exclusive content purchased on Nintendo Switch will be available on all platforms, and vice versa.
Furthermore, the "Ignite" update will introduce a new Legend named Conduit. Her abilities include a speed boost when approaching a teammate out of her Tactical range, the capability to create temporary shields for herself and teammates in danger, and the deployment of devices that damage and slow down enemies.
Changes will also affect the "Storm Point" map, with its overall size being reduced to improve gameplay dynamics and speed up the action. New central points of interest for combat will include Wattson's Pylon and CETO Station, with the latter replacing Prowler Island. These changes and innovations promise to make the gaming experience in Apex Legends even more captivating.
