Ahead of the official release, a story trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has surfaced online
During the Summer Game Fest in June, several new video game projects were unveiled by Jeff Keighley. One of the unexpected announcements was the 2.5D platformer Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. In this game developed by Ubisoft based on the popular series, developers returned to the roots of the project, presenting a two-dimensional gameplay reminiscent of metroidvania style.
The debut trailer received a negative response from viewers in the form of numerous dislikes. However, Ubisoft announced that at the upcoming The Game Awards ceremony, a new trailer entirely focused on the game's storyline will be showcased to reveal new narrative details to the audience.
Nevertheless, the official Brazilian PlayStation channel accidentally released the trailer ahead of schedule.
The release date for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set for January 18, 2024. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, and PC.
