A remastered version of "The Legend Of Legacy" in high definition has been announced, and it will be released next year
NIS America has unveiled a remastered version of "The Legend of Legacy", a beloved JRPG originally launched on the Nintendo 3DS in 2015.
This remastered edition of "The Legend of Legacy" was developed by Cattle Call, the same studio behind "The Alliance Alive," which also received an HD remaster recently.
The game revolves around a group of seven heroes, each embarking on a quest to explore the mythical island of Avalon, which has "awoken from its eternal slumber" to reveal its mysteries.
The remastered version features upgraded graphics and performance, as well as adjustments to the controls for modern gaming systems, departing from the original 3DS controls.
You can watch the trailer for "The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered" to get a glimpse of the game and its playable characters.
It's noteworthy that the project boasts contributions from renowned artists, including artwork by SaGa artist Tomomi Kobayashi and music composed by Masashi Hamauzu, known for their work on titles like Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy VII Remake. The game's storyline was crafted by Masato Kato, recognized for his involvement in games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy XI.
In terms of gameplay, "The Legend of Legacy" offers turn-based combat with a unique take on classic RPG elements, including character progression and party weapon selection.
Exploration in the game is also captivating, with the map gradually revealing itself as you explore the world, rather than being entirely visible from the start.
In summary, if you're a fan of classic JRPGs and missed out on this title when it originally launched on the Nintendo 3DS, you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for "The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered."
