Sony invested more than $200 million in the development of the game The Last of Us: Part II
During the legal proceedings between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Microsoft, the cost of developing the games Horizon: Forbidden West and The Last of Us: Part II became known. This information became available due to poorly edited documents provided by Sony to the court.
It was revealed that the development of The Last of Us: Part II cost approximately $220 million, with the involvement of 200 people in its creation.
A budget of $212 million was allocated for the development of Horizon: Forbidden West, and around 300 people were involved in its development.
