Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames have decided to make the game Indiana Jones an exclusive title for Xbox consoles
During the hearing in the Microsoft vs Federal Trade Commission case concerning the proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, Bethesda Softworks Vice President Pete Hines confirmed that the Indiana Jones game, developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks, announced in January 2021, will be exclusive to Xbox consoles.
According to Hines, the original agreement with Disney for the production of the Indiana Jones game included its release on multiple consoles.
However, according to the Federal Trade Commission, the deal was amended after Microsoft's acquisition of Zenimax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, and the game became exclusive to Xbox consoles.
