Discover Cyberpunk 2077's New Skill Tree: Unveiling Exciting Abilities!
Cyberpunk 2077 gets a second chance at redemption with the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion, and the revamped skill tree hints at a promising revival. Following its tumultuous launch, Cyberpunk 2077 fell short of expectations, leaving players disappointed. However, CD Projekt Red has been diligently working to rectify the game's flaws, and now they are on the brink of crafting their own comeback story.
Phantom Liberty goes beyond a mere expansion pack for Cyberpunk 2077, offering more than just an extended storyline within Night City. It sets out to realign the game with its original vision, rebuilding gameplay from the ground up. The ambitious demo showcased during the Summer Game Fest 2023 has generated considerable excitement within the Cyberpunk 2077 community.
A glimpse of the new talent tree system featured in Cyberpunk 2077 was shared on Dave Oshry's Twitter account, the CEO of New Blood Interactive, who had the privilege of playing Phantom Liberty early. The image, posted on the game's official subreddit by user jordgoin, received a positive response from the eager fandom anticipating the definitive edition of Cyberpunk 2077. The skill tree has undergone consolidation and streamlining, transforming it into a proper skill tree rather than a tangled mess of skills.
The new system introduces primary nodes, secondary nodes, and ultimate nodes within each skill category. While speculative, primary nodes likely represent specialized skills or talents for Cyberpunk 2077 characters, while secondary nodes offer passive bonuses to enhance them. The topmost ultimate nodes appear to contain game-changing abilities such as Deathbolt.
Phantom Liberty also brings the addition of cyberpsychosis, requiring players to make thoughtful choices when augmenting themselves with cyberware. Given the extensive changes introduced by Phantom Liberty, starting the game afresh is recommended to fully embrace the enhanced experience. Although Update 1.7 will include the gameplay overhaul for free, players who purchase Phantom Liberty will unlock a new ending for Cyberpunk 2077. If CD Projekt Red successfully delivers in September, Cyberpunk 2077 can shed its tarnished reputation and players can anticipate its sequel with renewed optimism.
