"Star Wars Jedi Survivor" took the top spot in the recent sales chart in the United Kingdom
The success of the new adventure in the Star Wars universe was not overshadowed by numerous issues, especially those affecting the PC version of the game. However, the fresh chapter in Cal Kestis' story knocked the sequel to Dead Island off the top spot (with retail sales dropping by 45%). It's worth noting that possible technical shortcomings of "Jedi" could affect sales in the coming weeks.
Sales of "Survivor" were 35% lower than "Fallen Order," but the game had the second-largest launch of the year, trailing only Hogwarts Legacy. It's also the eighth-largest launch among games in the Star Wars universe at retail.
The ubiquitous FIFA 23 climbed two positions from last week, taking third place. The same goes for Hogwarts Legacy, which took fifth place (was seventh last week). Meanwhile, Minecraft Legends dropped from second place to eighth.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey maintained their positions - they are still fourth and sixth, respectively.
