The new version of Proton on Steam Deck now supports Forspoken and Nioh 2 games
An update to Proton 8.0 has been released for Steam Deck, which developers are calling the largest one yet. It includes new features and expands compatibility with 18 new games. Among the major projects are Forspoken, the Dead Space remake, and Nioh 2. Optimization has also been improved for games like Final Fantasy XIV, Forza Horizon 5, Minecraft Dungeons, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The multi-touch function has been updated, and support for Nvidia NVAPI has been added to the game list. Various technologies, including Wine-Mono and DXVK, have also been updated to new versions.
