The Paladins shooter game for Nintendo Switch will be shut down in June
Hi-Rez Studios has announced that the servers for the heroic shooter Paladins on Nintendo Switch will be shut down in June. The final update for the portable console will be Midnight Masquerade. From today onwards, the project will no longer be available for download in the eShop and will lose the ability to make in-game purchases.
The developers made this decision reluctantly, but they believe that the performance of the portable version does not meet quality standards. They stated that this decision may disappoint many fans, but abandoning Nintendo Switch will give them the opportunity to release even higher quality updates.
Players on Nintendo Switch will be able to keep their accounts and continue playing on PC or Xbox. Starting in June, Paladins will only be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In addition, the servers for the tactical action game Rogue Company will also be shut down on June 20th. This decision is also due to technical issues.
