Chris Metzen returns to Blizzard

Blizzard announced on social media that Chris Metzen , one of the developers of the first Blizzard roster, is returning to the ranks of the company . The 49-year-old will take on the position of creative consultant for the Warcraft series . Chris Metzen began his work on the Warcraft universe back in 1994. At first he will focus on the development of World of Warcraft, but later the creative consultant will work on new Blizzard projects. After working until 2016, the developer left the studio and went on a free voyage.

Blizzard 's latest game to date is Overwatch 2, which was released on October 4 this year and is criticized by many fans of the originalOverwatch for its monetization system. Of the releases, it is worth noting Diablo 4 - so far the only project announced for 2023.
