About the game Tannenberg

Tannenberg is a PC multiplayer online game developed by M2H and Blackmill Games and published by M2H for Windows, macOS and Linux personal computers, as well as for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game consoles. The game was released on February 13, 2019, after over a year in Early Access.

Tannenberg is inspired by the 1914 Battle of Tannenberg in East Prussia. The game features historically accurate World War I weaponry, authentic uniforms and equipment, detailed wounds, and maps based on real-life battlefields on the Eastern Front.

Tannenberg is a first-person shooter with three game modes - Maneuver, Attrition, and Deathmatch. The game takes place in the trenches of World War I and can be played by up to 64 players (40 on consoles). Squads usually consist of four players: a squad leader, called a non-commissioned officer, and three roles, depending on the country and type of squad selected. Non-commissioned officers can call in support abilities such as artillery barrages, mobile barrages, white phosphorus attacks, smoke screens, and mortar rounds.

On Metacritic, the game has an 8.0 score from users. On Steam, the game has 87% positive reviews.
