Large scale mod released for Cyberpunk 2077

Everyone remembers how noisy the release of Cyberpunk 2077 was and what a reputational failure it became for CD Projekt RED. The reason for this is the prohibitive number of broken promises. With a huge credit of trust in reserve, the developers of the title promised Cyberpunk fans mountains of gold and a lot of interesting things that will be embodied in the game. After the release, it turned out that most of the ideas remained at the stage of the conceived concept, not embodied in the title.

Versions of computer games for PC differ from console versions in that they can be easily reworked and modified. Thanks to this, the folk art of Cyberpunk 2077 fans can turn the game into what the developers promised. The modders added such interesting things to the game as flying vehicles, gang wars and even public transport, which was obviously originally conceived in the game, but was cut in later stages of development. CD Project RED tried to ensure that the game does not crash, get good optimization and give out fewer bugs. Now it's up to the modders. The latter released a large-scale mod for the title, which contains many innovations and fixes. This allowed the game to get a lot of immersive sim elements, which will give players an additional sense of immersion in the game world.

The CyberMod mod in question adds what players have been missing, namely fully functional public transport, subways and taxis, a flying vehicle, gang warfare for territory, and more. As for transport and flying vehicles, here you can draw a parallel with Delamain from the storyline. Now, taking this taxi, you can, just like in the story missions, ride with the breeze, having a rest from the driving process. Remember how there in the prologue, playing as a corporate, you could get on a flying transport and get from point A to point B, while drinking red dry? So now you can do the same in a flying vehicle, only without wine and only from a third person. However, modders are not asleep and it is possible that in new versions they will add such a function with movement. Areas in the game will become more lively due to the constant competition of gangs for territories. In addition, the main character can join these criminal gangs and take an active part in the life of the gang and the struggle for territory. Users will be able to receive rewards in the form of clothes of a particular gang and receive respect from groups. With the advent of gangs, simple tasks from fixers have been added to the game, such as killing one or another gang member or processing a VIP character.

With the CyberMod mod, the name of the city of Night City will finally begin to justify its name. As the sun sets, life on the streets will become even busier and it will be even easier to get into showdowns between gangs, which will make players think about making a safe route. Not without meaning and a dream that can be used to avoid frequent shootings.

CD Projekt RED in patch 1.5 added the ability for players to upgrade their apartments and buy new homes. Modders also decided to update the list of legal activities of the protagonist. Now, in the same way, you can sit down at a computer and find a site where you can realize yourself as a businessman through the sale of apartments, the development of club restaurants and other activities.

The mod is still raw and has a lot of bugs, but the developers are working on fixing bugs, and players who started their journey in Cyberpunk 2077 from the moment of release are no strangers to these bugs, especially considering that their scale is not as serious as it was in case with the game in December 2020.
