Intel completely suspends work in Russia
Intel has decided to completely suspend operations in Russia. Recall that at the beginning of last month, Intel announced the suspension of deliveries of its products to Russia and Belarus.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this war, especially the people of Ukraine and neighboring countries, as well as all people around the world who have families, friends and loved ones in this region.
We are working to support all of our employees in this difficult situation, including our 1,200 employees in Russia. We have also implemented business continuity measures to minimize disruption to our global operations.
The American company noted that work is currently underway to support its employees, more than a thousand of whom are in Russia. We add that the company has three R&D centers - in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod.
Note that earlier such measures were taken by Samsung, Intel, Nvidia, AMD, which suspended the supply of goods to Russia. In addition, the Taiwanese company TSMC warned about the suspension of cooperation with local processor manufacturers.
Intel, a microelectronics company, was founded in 1968.
