Sniper Elite 5 Announced

Rebellion Developments has officially announced the shooter Sniper Elite 5. The game will appear on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year. It is reported that the actions of the continuation of the sniper series will unfold in France in 1944 at the end of the Second World War.

According to the plot, the main character must neutralize the Nazi project "Operation Kraken", which can prevent the allies from ending the war and regaining Europe.

The developers promise to introduce improved mechanics of shooting and movement - ziplines will appear in the game. They will allow you to customize your weapons in a wide range of parameters, changing almost all the details of the weapon, as well as choosing the right ammunition.

For cooperative passage, it is possible to share ammunition and items, heal a friend and give him orders. In addition, in PvP mode, players will be able to break into the passage of another player and play sniper "cat and mouse". The developers plan to enhance the realism of the Enhanced Kill Cam mechanic, which demonstrates the destructive power of the shot. The game world should become even more lively and atmospheric, for which real locations were captured and recreated using photogrammetry.
