Taipei Game Show 2020 has been postponed for six months due to an outbreak of coronavirus
Initially, the Taipei Game Show 2020 was supposed to be held from February 6 to 9 in Taipei. Now the organizers plan to hold an exhibition in the summer. The outbreak of Chinese coronavirus was the reason for the transfer of this event.
The organizers made a statement in which they said they did not want to hold an event with a large crowd of people. Such an act would be very thoughtless and could contribute to the spread of the virus. Initially, the Teipei Game Show 2020 was going to be held, despite the problems encountered, but with the use of medical masks and temperature measurement. Earlier, Chinese authorities banned mass events in cities in order to avoid the spread of the virus.
Yesterday it became known that the Overwatch League management canceled all the February and March league matches. They will be held later.
Coronavirus appeared in China in Wuhan last December. Currently, 9776 infections and 213 deaths from this disease are registered. The virus is already in 23 states, including China, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, the USA and others.
