Brazilian Football Confederation and Partnership with Garena Free Fire
Mobile game Garena Free Fire has announced a partnership with the Brazilian Confederation of Football (CBF). The two-year deal will allow Garena Free Fire to become the official sponsor of Brazil's national soccer teams.
Fernando Mazza, Head of Operations, Garena Brazil: "We know that many of our players are big football fans and this partnership allows them to celebrate their passion for the Brazilian Free Fire team."
According to a press release, the partnership will provide Free Fire players in Brazil - and around the world - with the opportunity to get exclusive co-op skins and other in-game items. In addition, free activations of Free Fire will also take place in soccer matches with the Brazilian national team.
The Brazilian Football Confederation said the partnership agreement will improve contact with young people as Free Fire is incredibly popular in Brazil.
On August 6, two new skins will appear in the game in collaboration with the Brazilian national team. This includes the blue and yellow jerseys, which are the traditional colors of Seleção (the nickname for the Brazilian national team). These items will be part of an event called "Farra dos Colecionadores, with more details to be revealed in the future."
