Alpha Esports starts cooperation with Mais Esports
Canadian tech company Alpha Esports has announced a new partnership with Brazilian esports media firm Mais Esports. As a result of the deal, Mais Esports will use and promote the Alpha Esports GamerzArena platform.
As one of the largest esports media providers in Brazil, Mais Esports is the nation's distributor of gaming news and information. Under the partnership, GamerzArena will become the exclusive platform for Mais Esports online events and tournaments in Brazil. The company is expected to host various eSports tournaments on a weekly basis.
In addition, Mais will use its existing connections to promote both the platform and the Alpha Esports GamerzArena + subscription service. Alpha Esports and Mais Esports will participate in the revenue sharing for each paid service membership. Both organizations will also share the proceeds from future tournaments.
Alpha Esports interim CEO, Matthew Schmidt: "Brazil is one of the fastest growing markets in esports and with Mais as esports and marketing partner, we believe there is a significant opportunity to grow our user base for both GamerzArena and GamerzArena +."
The new partnership agreement is one of a number of joint projects that Alpha Esports have recently completed, as well as deals with the likes of Oxygen Esports and Centric Gaming.
