In addition, NRG players and staff will participate in one-to-one educational programming in conjunction with Therabody University, the education arm of the wellness firm. This includes training in protocols tailored to the needs of the players using Theragun shock therapy and the company's devices.

A wide range of wellness content will also be created by Therabody, NRG and San Francisco Shock. In particular, a series of digital content will show how whole body health can improve the performances of both professional and amateur players.

Dr. Jason Versland, Founder and Chief Wellness Specialist, Therabody: "I am so impressed with the care that players put into preparing for long and rigorous tournaments. With an additional level of education in our natural restorative solutions, this team will bring even more intensity to the world of esports."

Throughout the deal, NRG players will integrate Therabody's products and solutions into their social posts and live streams.

Note that this is Therabody's first step into the esports sector, following the firm's recent partnership with Major League Soccer - Seattle Sounders.
