HyperX announces partnership with Belong Gaming Arenas
Belong Gaming Arenas, a subsidiary of esports and technology firm Vindex, has entered into a two-year partnership with gaming peripherals brand HyperX.
As a result of the agreement, HyperX will equip Belong Gaming Arenas with its products. The package includes headsets, keyboards, mice and microphones.
Belong first announced the deployment of "experimental" gaming centers in the US in June this year, with Houston as its first destination. At the time of the initial launch, PlayStation, ViewSonic and Mavix were some of the brands announced to equip these gaming hubs.
Wendy Lecot, Head of Strategic Alliances, HyperX: “Gaming businesses like Belong are helping to fuel the next generation of amateur gamers to compete on the global stage. HyperX is the champion of all gamers, and our partnership with Belong is designed to bring everyone who share the love of gaming in local communities. "
The partnership agreement with HyperX expands Belong's existing relationship with HP, the parent company of the peripheral brand. Following a partnership with OMEN, HP Belong Gaming Arenas will also feature the brand's gaming PCs.
Along with the Belong partnership, HyperX has also recently entered into agreements with Faze Clan, American footballer Juju Smith-Schuster and esports club Red Bull Racing.
