GEN.G and IMG Academy announce the creation of a summer esports camp
North American esports organization Gen.G has partnered with IMG Academy to create a summer esports camp for the VALORANT discipline.
The one-week high school summer camp will take place August 15-22 at the IMG Academy headquarters in Bradenton, Florida.
Chris Park, CEO of Gen.G Esports:“We are delighted that IMG Academy is offering an innovative experience for high school students who love esports. This camp - for which Gen.G will financially support the selection of qualified students - combines the best in sports and esports training like never before. We can learn a lot from the IMG in terms of how to help athletes mentally and physically prepare, and we are delighted to help these students achieve sustainable success in and out of the classroom through their love of games. "
According to the press release, the camp will host a range of activities, including workshops with esports coaches and athletes, team building sessions, and meetings with the Gen.G VALORANT team.
In addition, all vacationers will receive PC gaming peripherals from the ROCCAT brand. The kit will include a Kone Pro wired mouse, an Elo 7.1 USB gaming headset, a Sense AIMO XXL mouse pad and the recently released Pyro Mechanical RGB gaming keyboard.
