Evil Geniuses partners with Games for Change
North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has announced a partnership with the non-profit organization Games for Change.
The two sides will work together to create opportunities for "the next generation of esports talent," according to a press release. This includes the launch of the Diversity and Inclusion Workshop on July 7 during Games for Change 2021 Workshop Week.
During the seminar, Evil Geniuses Cultural Director Jessica Hammond will talk about how the core values of Games for Change and Evil Geniuses correlate. In addition, she will also submit a report to the organization by the non-profit organization Games for Change.
Games for Change was founded in 2004 and is working on projects focused on the core mission of the organization - to empower "gamers and content creators to have a social impact." This includes participation in community leadership, educational programs, festivals, and game development.
In turn, 2021 has already become a busy year for the North American esports organization. Along with forging partnerships with companies such as Coinbase, POINT3, and Bud Light, Evil Geniuses has also renewed its agreement with Monster Energy.
