Harry Maguire named esports ambassador
Manchester United and England defender Harry Maguire has been named the latest brand ambassador for Britain's Semper Fortis Esports.
In his new role, Maguire will interact with fans across multiple digital platforms as well as share his “traditional sports experience” to apply to the esports organization. It is noted that the defender will receive guarantees that will allow him to purchase shares of Semper Fortis Esports in 12 months.
Maguire is the second footballer to become a Semper Fortis brand ambassador after taking on a similar role for Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin on 20 May.
Kevin Soltani, CEO of Semper Fortis Esports, commented on the appointment in a press release:“Harry, like Dominic, is one of the country's most highly regarded professional footballers, representing England and Manchester United. We are delighted that Harry and Dominic were invited on board as ambassadors last week and will be working with them shortly to achieve our stated goals. "
Semper Fortis Esports is currently represented in the Rocket League discipline, developing the Top Blokes team that competes in the Rocket League Championship Series (RCLS).
