Arizona Coyotes has signed a contract with gaming platform developer Rival to supply server technology that now powers a new NHL Coyotes Gaming initiative. The agreement will see the Arizona Coyotes use Rival technology for their own gaming platform, which launched last week with its first organized tournament.
This technology allows the team to host tournaments and offer prizes and other incentives. Coyotes Gaming's NHL 21 kick-off match took place last week with over 80 players. This is the team's second deal since the Capitals deal, and has over 20 clients in total. Others include the Pistons, Seahawks and Aston Villa.
