L.A. Thieves signed an agreement with Dollar Shave Club
LA Thieves, part of the 100 Thieves esports organization, has announced a partnership with Dollar Shave Club.
Terms of the deal have not been made public, but the Dollar Shave Club will feature on the team's kits, act as a presentation sponsor, and fund the team's training facility at the Cash App Compound in Los Angeles.
The 100 Thieves are joining the CDL this season, which is important for both sides. The esports organization and Haag have long been associated with esports, but 100 Thieves did not initially buy a seat in the League when it was reorganized as a franchise property with geographically located teams last year. In the end, however, the organization decided to take this step in part because it found a middle ground. An agreement was reached to retain their original name as the team's mascot and gain a place in Los Angeles, while the Immortals decided to withdraw from the CDL.
Note that 100 Thieves also has partnerships with AT&T, Rocket Mortgage, Totino's, Chipotle and JBL.
