Florida Citrus Sports will host a two-day University esports symposium in February
Florida Citrus Sports will host a two-day Virtual Symposium on Collegiate Esports supported by Full Sail University, the University of Central Florida esports program, and a notable roster of executives and stakeholders.
The free 2-day 10-hour online event will run from February 18-19.
What's notable about the symposium is its attendees, including eFuse Chief Financial Officer Neil Duffy, Activision Blizzard's Lead Esports Project Manager Erin Eberhardt, Twitch Scholastic Program Manager Kevin Hoang, Hitmarker Managing Director Richard Haggan, Misfits Gaming Group President John Krakum, FACEIT Collegiate Esports Director, Varsity Esports Foundation Executive Director Bubba Gaeddert, Former UCEA President Victoria Horsley, Dr. Lindsay Migliore (GamerDoc), UCI Esports Director and North American School Cybersport Federation Commissioner Mark Depp, Boise State Esports Coach Haskell, Senior Assistant Commissioner for Mountain West Caroline Henry, Director of Grand View University Esports Dana Hustedt and others.
The online event will feature panel discussions on events, program administration and development, post-college careers, and health, and more. In addition, sectional networking sessions will be held at the end of both days.
