Global Purge - Over 1,200,000 Cheaters Banned From PUBG Mobile
The creators of PUBG Mobile revealed on Twitter that between January 8-14, they blocked more than 1,200,000 accounts that were seen cheating. It is noteworthy that 38% of those banned were ranked "Bronze", while representatives of the highest rank "Conqueror" were only 3%.
According to the developers' remarks, the most common type of cheat is sight homing, or, more simply, autoaim. There were 24% of these among cheaters. In addition, lovers of X-ray vision (22%) often met, and there were as many players using modified models that give an advantage as there were auto aiming users. Another 12% is for speedhackers, 7% for improving hitboxes when shooting, and 11% for the rest.
This number of cheaters is not at all surprising, since in 2020, according to the analytical company Sensor Tower, PUBG Mobile became the most profitable project in the mobile games industry. The company earned about $ 2,600,000,000 from this game.
Earlier, we talked about how the developer plans to play $ 14,000,000 in PUBG Mobile tournaments. They plan to make their brainchild the first mobile Tier-1 esports discipline in the world. You can read more about this in our material.
