SAW to open esports stadium in Portugal
The Portuguese esports organization SAW has announced the imminent opening of an esports stadium in Portugal. The venue, which will be named SAW ESPORTS ARENA, will be located in Vila Nova de Gaia, close to the metro and train station.
From the very beginning of the organization - about three years ago - the goals were well aligned, with the confidence that we would act on all fronts with the utmost rigor, focus and dedication. We are now announcing a unique space in the country that will offer space to all those who make the esports scene in Portugal grow day by day and who are a true support at heart. It is time to take the biggest step in our history and pay back all those who make this all possible.
The new SAW ESPORTS ARENA esports stadium is expected to be the topic of conversation in a new episode of the À Prova de Bala podcast, which will feature SAW CEO and Daniel Rodriguez, who is in charge of the RTP Arena project, as guests.
The arena will reportedly span over 800m2 and will consist of a seating area, game rooms, live broadcast rooms and a living room. Moreover, one of the main divisions will be the PRO Arena, a space where fans can watch the team play.
At the moment, the opening date of the site is not known. It is likely that the Portuguese esports organization SAW will share the details of the stadium as it approaches its opening. Fans of the club can follow the whole process through the Youtube channel of the Portuguese organization.
