Basketball player "Charlotte Hornets" became an investor in the beastcoast organization
North American esports organization beastcoast has announced it is strengthening its commercial portfolio by introducing Gordon Hayward of the Charlotte Hornets as its newest investor. In addition, the athlete will take the position of senior adviser to an esports organization. Financial details of cooperation and the amount of investments were not disclosed.
Grant Zinn, CEO of beastcoast : "Through our incredible relationship with Butler University, we were able to connect with Gordon and introduce him to the beastcoast family. I've always admired how Gordon uses his platform as an NBA player to advocate for the interests of the gaming community, so it was quite it makes sense to partner with him as we take the next step as an esports organization."
Hayward is a current NBA player and currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets, while he previously played for the Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics. It is reported that off the court, the basketball player enjoys playing League of Legends, Starcraft II and Fortnite. In his new role, the basketball player will develop a joint project between beastcoast and Butler University called "Butler Esports Park". Its goal is the development of student eSports.

The beastcoast organization is currently represented in disciplines such as Dota 2, Rainbow Six, Super Smash Bros, Street Fighter, Pokemon, and Teamfight Tactics. The club recently managed to renew its partnership with the Betway bookmaker, as well as conclude deals with AORUS and TNNS.
