Renegades is leaving Apex Legends
North American esports organization Renegades has announced its retirement from Apex Legends. In its statement, the club did not disclose the reasons for the closure of the division, which has existed for a year and a half.
Today we announce our departure from apex. We want to thank PowPow and ImMadness for their time with the organization and wish them all the best.
The Renegades organization became part of Apex Legends in the spring of 2021. Over the course of a season and a half, the team made several roster changes, having managed to win at GameTime Summer Throwdown: Weekly 2, GameTime Summer Throwdown and NSG: Summer Championship - Online 4, and also get into the top three at Nerd Street Gamers - Winter Championship 2022, Super League Arena - January Split, NSG: Summer Championship - Philadelphia and Esports Arena: Series E Season 5 Pro Tournament #12, among others.
In addition, the North American team took ninth place at the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs - North America, and also made it to the TOP-4 at the end of the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 - North America.
The last championship for the team was Oversight - Season 1 Split 1: Week #4, where Renegades took fourth place. It is noteworthy that the organization also made it to the list of participants in the Apex Legends Global Series 2022-23: Split 1 Pro League - North America, but has now left its slot for another team.
