Argentine esports organization Leviatán has announced a partnership with fast food restaurant chain KFC. It is reported that the deal applies to all compositions that are on the balance of Leviatán. This includes the VALORANT team currently participating in VALORANT Champions 2022 in Istanbul.
Founded in 2020, the Leviatán organization has experienced rapid growth and has become one of the most famous in Argentina. The organization recently entered the global spotlight with their current performance at VALORANT Champions 2022, becoming the first team to qualify for the playoffs after defeating Team Liquid and Paper Rex.
Fernando Diez, CEO and Founder of Leviatán: "We are very proud to have added such a leading global brand as KFC to our family as together we will help grow the sector in the region through an unparalleled experience for our fans."
As a reminder, KFC is no stranger to collaborating with South American esports teams and tournaments. In 2020, the company sponsored the Rainbow Six championship. In addition, KFC has been part of esports since 2018, sponsoring various esports initiatives in several regions.
Fernanda Pieruzzini, Marketing Manager at KFC: "We are very motivated to be part of such an exciting sector as esports, thanks to a club that has grown so much in the region. We look forward to new experiences that we can experience together with Leviathan."
