2021 has been a magical year for our club and with the publication of our first positive annual report, we have reached another milestone. And last but not least, they proved to the rest of the esports world that you can achieve great results in a healthy and sustainable way. Our growth has been very satisfying and I am pleased that some of the areas of the business that we have invested in both finance and personnel have produced very good results.

He focused on the esports academy, which saw courses grow by more than 200% between 2020 and 2021. The organization’s plans for the future, based on Stiffen’s words, are quite serious:

We want to be the best in Europe in terms of student well-being, individual development and what we have to offer from a variety of products so that everyone can participate. No child should feel less valued and that's what motivated us to create this outcome.

The director of the CPH Flames did not disregard the topic of organizing championships:

When it comes to our tournaments and events, this is another area of business that we develop ourselves. Back in 2016, we organized our first small tournament in collaboration with ESL. Then it was Overwatch, and now it's major tournaments in collaboration with Elgiganten and Red Bull. I am happy that we are helping to strengthen the Danish scene around CS: GO, League of Legends and Fortnite in cooperation with our partners, and also making good business out of it. Here, our revenue grew by 224% from 2020 to 2021, and this trend looks set to continue in 2022.

Copenhagen Flames is one of the most famous Danish esports organizations.

The head of Copenhagen Flames values the relationship with his partners very much. According to him, it is collaborations that bring significant income:

Our partnerships are a significant part of our sources of income, and as the club was one of the best in the world and Europe in both CS:GO and Fortnite, natural interest gave us some opportunities that we could not attract before.

According to Stiffen Thomsen, content also provides significant benefits:

At the same time, our content department has grown and given us other opportunities that we can now also implement at the campaign and multiannual level. With growth of more than 300%, we have significantly outperformed our targets and we can be pleased that 2022 has already offered some major new partners in Visma and DxDao. With overall revenue growth of more than 200% and a positive annual report, we have achieved excellence in operations and entrepreneurship.

Copenhagen Flames played at PGL Antwerp Major 2022 and took 5th-8th place there

The goal that Thomsen set for himself in 2016 is on track to achieve:

When I created the club in 2016, I said I wanted to create a club that Danes could rally around and be proud of. I am very proud that we can live up to this vision and I hope our fans feel the same way.
